The problem or experience

Climate, ecosystems and settlement are usually taught separately. Here one planet connects them, so a change to starlight shows up in the food web.

Who it's for

Students and curious players.

My contribution

It is my project, built with Three.js. The source is private.

What works today

  • Place planets, stars, neutron stars and black holes, then enter a planet.
  • Change climate, run predict-then-observe experiments, and build an outpost, per the README.
  • Save and load in the browser.

Limitations

  • It uses simplified science and is not a research tool, per the README.
  • Saves don't sync between devices.
  • The source is private.
