OBSERVED
A citizen observatory: pick an experiment, predict first, measure with your phone, inspect the evidence.
Runs locally. The seeded demo campaign is clearly labelled as simulated.

The problem or experience
People argue about basics like the shape of the Earth from their sofas. OBSERVED asks them to lock a prediction, measure a shadow or a sunset, and see every model scored against open data.
Who it's for
Curious people, teachers and skeptics who prefer evidence they can recompute themselves.
My contribution
It is my project. The README describes a signed, hash-chained record of observations, and the evidence page recomputes statistics in your browser.
What works today
- Two experiments are described end to end: The Shadow Stick and One Sunset, Everywhere.
- The README lists tests for the physics and for tamper and forgery checks.
Limitations
- I haven't run the tests or the app. This summary comes from the README.
- The README's own 'Honest limits' section notes the system can't prove a shadow was real.
