The problem or experience
Invoice2Go handled invoices, but the shop still needed a single place for leads, estimates, deposits, job status and talking to the crew.
Who it's for
Don Howard Construction / Painting: the people in the office and the crew in the field.
My contribution
I built it as a Next.js progressive web app that works on phones and in the office.
What works today
- Leads, estimates and invoices live in one system instead of several apps.
- Deposits and payments are recorded against the job.
- Job status and history are kept without a second spreadsheet.
- A simple crew channel keeps the field from being a black box.
Limitations
- It is one client's private system, so there is no public sign-up or demo.
- I don't publish customer data or screenshots of it.
