The problem or experience
Good finds sit in thrift stores where the people who want them never see them. ThriftScout connects buyers, scouts who are already in the aisles, and the stores themselves.
Who it's for
Thrift shoppers, people who thrift for others, and thrift stores.
My contribution
It is my project, built with Next.js and Supabase. The source is private.
What works today
- Browse finds, post a wanted request, or run a price check, as shown on the live site.
- Scouts can post finds from a store, per the README.
- Real accounts work across devices in the pilot, per the README.
Limitations
- No card payments or payouts are collected yet.
- The store listed is an unclaimed scout location, not a verified partner, per the README.
- The source is private.
